We also provide specialized services including Family Reconciliation Intensives (extended sessions for families seeking repair after major conflict), the Becoming Prodigal Parents group series for parents of adult children, IFS-based group sessions, and growth groups focused on anxiety, creativity, and emotional education. All therapy is trauma-informed and uses AEDP and other evidence-based modalities.

Individual therapy sessions range from $80 to $275 per 50-minute session. Couples therapy sessions range from $90 to $325 per 50-minute session. Rates are determined by the licensing level of the provider leading the session. You will receive a cost estimate for your treatment plan before starting counseling.

Heart Matters NYC is an out-of-network provider. Depending on your health insurance plan or employee benefit plan, services may be covered in full or in part. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your out-of-network psychotherapy benefits, including your deductible, session limits, and whether a referral from your primary care physician is required.

Our team is trained in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and other evidence-based models. We focus on going deeper into your story to identify and understand patterns of relating, loving, coping, and navigating your world, seeking glimmers of hope, resilience, and transformation.

What is the cancellation policy at Heart Matters NYC?

Heart Matters NYC requires at least 48 hours' notice for session cancellations. Without 48 hours' notice, you may be charged the full session rate. Exceptions may be made for urgent or unforeseen circumstances — contact the office as soon as possible if something comes up.
